SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS WINE GROWERS ASSOCIATION
PASSPORT DAY with MUNS VINEYARD
Saturday, January 20th | 12 - 4p
Taste some excellent Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noirs from Muns Vineyard!
Winemakers, Ed and Mary, will pour a vertical tasting of their delicious Santa Cruz Mountains estate Pinot Noirs and the newly released 2013 estate Syrah. Taste the alchemy of bottle aging in some of the library vintages as well as the newer 2011, 2012 and 2013 Pinot Noirs.
Muns Vineyard brushes the sky on the Loma Prieta ridge top at 2,600 feet above Los Gatos and Monterey Bay, the highest Pinot Noir vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
It will be a great opportunity to taste a selection of Pinot Noirs from this high elevation vineyard, as well as their Rosé of Pinot Noir and estate Syrah. Muns Vineyard Pinot Noirs are characterized by a distinctive flavor of (Burgundian) black cherry.
Their balance and complexity contribute to their age worthiness.
