SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS WINE GROWERS ASSOCIATION
PASSPORT DAY with MUNS VINEYARD
Saturday, April 21st | 12 - 4p
Taste some excellent Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noirs from Muns Vineyard!
Muns Vineyard wines reflect the rugged, high elevation mountain terroir of the vineyard. At 2,600 feet on the Loma Prieta ridge top it is the highest Pinot Noir vineyard in the region and looks out over Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay.
Winemakers, Ed and Mary Muns, will pour a vertical tasting of their delicious estate Pinot Noirs and Syrah. Experience the alchemy of bottle aging in some of the library vintages as well as the newer 2011, 2012 and 2013 Pinot Noirs.
It will be a great opportunity to taste a selection of Pinot Noirs from this high elevation vineyard, as well as their Rosé of Pinot Noir and estate Syrah. Muns Vineyard Pinot Noirs are characterized by a distinctive flavor of (Burgundian) black cherry.
Their balance and complexity contribute to their age worthiness.
$15 tasting fee without Passport | No charge for Passport holders
